Oklahoma 500 Mile Yard Sale FAQ'S
Here are some answers to the most commonly asked questions we get asked about the Oklahoma 500 Mile Yard Sale Extravaganza coming up May 2nd & 3rd, 2025!

What towns are participating?
Pawnee, Cleveland, Blackburn, Mannford, Wynona, Pawhuska, Cushing, Terlton, Sand Springs, Hominy, Oilton, Stroud, Bristow, Glencoe, Yale, Sapulpa, Oak Grove, Hallett, Jennings, Ralston, Fairfax, Perry, Milfay, Depew, Morrison, Drumright, Kellyville, and Glenpool are in the 2025 sale.

What days & times do people sell?
These are sales at people's homes with flea markets and vendors along the route. Individual sellers will determine which day & time they will have their sales. We only coordinate with all the towns to have a city-wide yard sale the same weekend. We do not control individual sales, their advertising/signage or lack thereof, or the days they do their sale. Some people will start early and end late. Some sellers might even start on Thursday and end on Sunday. It's flexible but the main event is Friday and Saturday.

Where do I start?
You can start in any town along the route. There is not a specific route you have to take. There will be tons of sales along the country roads too, it is not just limited to towns. Not every sale will be on the list.

How do I register my sale?
You can register your sale here on our website on the seller page. The deadline is April 28th at noon. There is a link to fill out the form to be on the master list and google map. Private sales are free, but business listings are $25 and when you fill out the form it will take you to a page to pay for your business listing. Fill out registration here: www.ok500mileyardsale.com/sellers

Can you register my sale for me?
We cannot add your sale for you, and we cannot edit your sale.

Where are the maps?
The master list of sales is posted here on the website IN THE BUYERS SECTION. It is also in our Facebook group as a PDF file for you to print. There is also an interactive google map.

Is there an app we can use to see sales or list our sale?
We are also encouraging people to use the GSALR app and the Yard Sale Treasure Map app again this year and place an ad in your local paper.

Is there a cost to list my business on the map?
Businesses that want to be on the master list and/or post in the group or event- there will be a $25 charge for advertising. You must be a business in a town along the route to advertise. You can register at the link for the master list and there will be instructions for payment once you submit your sale.

Can I post my sale in the Facebook Group?
We will not be allowing private sales posts until the day of the event. It gets too chaotic and then we cannot get information out to everyone.
Do I put out signs for my sale?
Putting signs out leading to your sale is a MUST. If you put your sale on the master list and decide to cancel you must contact us by April 28th to be removed from the list. We have super angry shoppers every year that try to go to sales that do not exist. DO NOT be that seller!

Can I rent a vendor spot?
If you are looking for a spot in a particular town, please send me a message and I will put you in contact with the rep for that town. I do not handle/book any vendor spaces for this event except in Pawnee.
Where is a good place to spend the night?
There is a pinned post from last year at the top of the Facebook group with lodging options and we will try to update that as we go along.

What about the weather?
This is a rain or shine event, and we do not control whether individual sellers have their sales or not.

Do you have contests?
We will be having contests again this year and are looking for donations from local businesses for gift baskets. Contests will include the most unusual item contest and also the best yard sale sign contest.
